Luna sat with her knee’s drawn up to her chest and her arms to her sides, weighed down by the heavy chains around her wrists. By now she had lost track of how long she has been at Malfoy manor. She definitely missed Christmas, but she wasn’t sure if he birthday passed yet. It was all very confusing when there wasn’t one ounce of natural light besides the small bit that fell passed the gated door. She couldn’t help but glance at Ollivander who was sleeping across from her. He looked worse then she did from their visit with Bellatrix a few hours ago. It worried her slightly, but she continued to keep the positive outlook even if she found herself struggling.

Humming a song to herself, she imagined how everyone was doing. What was going on at Hogwarts? Were her friends alright? Her father must be worrying about her very much. He didn’t do very well with loss. She remembered how he was after her mother died. It wasn’t until she heard footsteps descending the stairs that he mind broke out of the haze and she watched, hoping it wasn’t the messy mop of curly black hair. “Oh.” Luna quipped, giving the boy a smile. “Hello.” Maybe she should be more careful, but she tried to see things from his point of view. She didn’t judge him for his actions, or most people in general. Bella was scary, but scary things must have happened to her.

Draco was having a hard time since he had been given this horrid task. If he didn't do this then his family would suffer and he couldn't allow that.

Nothing he did seemed to work and that stressed him out even more. He found himself at night wandering around the castle. He couldn't sleep, he couldn't rest. So he walked and he found himself sitting in the astronomy tower most nights, staring up at bright twinkling stars wishing he could be one.

Dracos life was slowly getting on track. Though he still had his moments that his PTSD took over but he had it under control for most part.

He worked at Saint Mungos as a researcher. He researched and trial new spells and potions for common and rare diseases.

There was a conference in the United States about magical improvements in the healing sector and he was one of the choosen staff to attended.

He hadn't expected to see anyone from his childhood, he barely spoke to anyone outside of work and his family. So seeing Hermione Granger there made him freeze up slightly.

In front of the crowd of people he took the news in stride, holding Pansy close as the rounds of congratulations came towards the two.

Draco could barely stand the girl and now he was forced to marry her. He didn't want her, he didn't love her but that didn't matter, it was all about keeping the blood pure.

As soon as the last congratulations were offered. Draco excused himself from Pansy and quickly left the Manor and out to the gardens maze.

He walked for a few minutes, following a familiar path before sitting down on the bench in the middle of the maze. His hands gripped his pants as he tried to calm down his breath.

Ever since the War had ended, Draco couldn't sleep without potions to help him. He was slowly becoming addicted to them that he threw them all out.

Of course, that meant he could no longer sleep and usually spent his day buzzed on Caffine. He took a sip of his fifth cup that morning and glared as she watched him.
