loitering around apt. 6 was nothing new for holden. his time was evenly spread from school, his own apartment, and the apartment thalia shared with her friends. thalia and holden been tight-knit friends from the very moment they’d first met at summer camp years and years ago, and living within close proximity only made their friendship grow, and their codependency worsen... she was out now, attending a class and he’d promised to wait for her so they could escape for lunch later on in the evening. instead of returning to his apartment, holden camped out in the living room, like usual. the football player laid out amongst one the couches, idly watching the re-run of the office that was playing on the tv screen, and glancing back down at his phone in between. the combination of the two distractions had blinded him to zar’s presence until it was glaringly obvious... a sheepish smile laced holden’s mouth as he stuck the tube of pringles in his lap within zar’s direction. “hey there, pal. didn’t see ya there. care for some snacks?”
