@airbornegoldendude gets a custom starter
The summer had been particularly bad. By that point, Clyde had already lost count of all the air conditioners he had fixed. Alas, as late as it was, when Sonny called him with an SOS because the diner had ran out of cold air, he packed his things and got moving. A malfunctioning air conditioner meant no clients for Sonny, and Clyde couldn't risk losing his favorite diner, could he?
He lost his shirt sometime between the repairs, if only in an attempt to fight the heat. His sharp mind and skilled hands were focused then, and for the better part of two hours, he kept working and working to get the system full operational.
That is, of course, until he felt a gentle touch on his back. Too gentle to be distruptive but too certain to seem random. He kept working, though. Not looking back, but certainly not shying away from the contact either.
"Y-yeah? What's up, Sonny?"
