Artie sent the last message to Sugar as if it were an order: She should see him. He needed to tell her the truth, the reason which made him break up the relationship. The boy wasn't well since Thanksgiving and he needed a shoulder, something that could distract him from these thoughts. So he should tell her the real reason. When she rang the bell, the boy went to the door to let the girl come in "Come in, Sugar, mi casa su casa" said Artie with a half smile.

Sugar came inside, awkwardly. It was weird to talk to Artie now... They couldn't be like they were and to be honest, she didn't want it that way. She was thinking about someone else now and felt a little bit guilty for moving on so fast, but at least she felt like they could both be happy... Unless of course whatever he had to tell her was sad.

Artie realized that the girl entered the house in a awkwardly way. Despite the breakup, they were already understood more as friends, though. When they walked into the living room, the boy straightened his wheelchair to stand beside her. "How are you? Are you okay?" the boy said with a frown.

Sugar smile at him and waved a hand, "I am totally fine. Everything has honestly been great. I think that I just really needed Daddy to come home. Since he's been back, TAH DAH!!! I'm back to cheery old Sugar again."  She stared at him, concerned, "And what about you, Art?"

Artie stared at her as she spoke animated about her father. Sugar has always loved her father. He liked to see their relationship. Actually her father of her side gave her the strength to face the facts of life. The boy also had wonderful parents but he wanted to be strong like her. "Well, actually I'm willing to tell you something. Something I should have told you long time ago," Artie said as he fidgeted with his gloves on his hands.

Sugar furrowed her eyebrows and stared at him, curiously. "Okay, well - fire away."

Artie looked at her and started talking "Firstly, I'm sorry I bringing this back. But I'll tell you the real reason I break up with you. Anyway ... Before you know me, something happened to me that is quite serious: I tried to kill myself at 13 years old and I acquire the depression's status since that time."

Sugar 's lip dropped and she stared, wide-eyed and shook her head, then simply took a deep breath and reached for his hand. "Artie... I'm sorry to hear that. That's something that nobody should have to go through." She whispered sadly, "I wish you would have told me. I would've been there for you." She gave him a smile, "I hope that at least you're okay now? The world is full of sorrow and strife. Best we forget about that stuff and focus on the good."

Artie looked at her as she spoke to him. Sugar is a special person. He had no words to describe how much she is special. "I didn't tell you because I made a big mistake in thinking of start a new life without telling anyone what happened," Artie said as he held her hand "When I met you, I was afraid you don't like me the way as I am and at the same time, I shouldn't have done al these things without being ready for face this world. I must say that I'm improving, so I'm sorry for everything, okay? I didn't want to hurt you, I swear"

Sugar fought tears that threatened to come from her, "Well - you deserved to have a normal life. I'm glad that you're better." She sighed and told him, truthfully, "But, the fact that you couldn't tell me about this sooner just proves that we were never meant to be. I honestly love you and I always will. I just want you to be alright. We'll always be friends. You matter to me."

Artie smiled at her as he saw her weeping. He was more relieved to tell her what happened. She deserved to know about it more than anyone. "I'm sure that one day your heart will beat again by someone else and hopefully a better guy than I was" the boy said smiling as he wiped her tears.

Sugar quickly recovered and refused any further tears. "So... what next? You probably have a host of people worried that things are gonna go bad again or at least watching you carefully. I hope I never do that to you. I plan on just trusting that you're not only doing better, but you'll be greater later." She smiled brightly and tousled his hair with her hand. "No depression's ever gonna get the best of you, Artie. Just keep doing whatever makes you happy and keep giving the fight your best."

Artie smiled at her words, "Well, I confess that I'm improving. I guess that improving begins from the moment I started talking to people about it, I just felt relieved and my mind lightest. And I'm happy for you have understood my reasons. I'm sure this will help me enough to face all this."

Sugar nodded her head, "Glad that I could be of some assistance. I mean, things didn't go the way that I thought that they would, for us, but honestly - I believe that they went exactly how they should be. AND... I promised a certain somebody that he'd get his belly tickled!" Sugar made grabby hands as she playfully came towards Artie, preparing to tickle on him.
