Rumic World Week (Day 6)

I'm mega late celebrating @rumicworldweek and because I've been sort of busy and wanted to reread all of Mao before talking about it. For my favorite scene, I wanted to mention the thrilling and stressful situation Nanoka has to deal with regarding her grandfather! Not to get into spoiler territory, but I loved the sense of tension as stuff got discovered in the story. There's a real air of mystery.

Oh gosh this was...this was lots of fun to do! Self indulging with some great ocs/aus, not only my own of course! Someone had told me something a few days ago while I was still..eh about things from the past regarding Ikari. And honestly, this was the first time in a long time that I was eager to finish drawing him so I can just look at him and say ‘’Heck yeah, that’s my boy right there!’’. I think that now, even though I may go back on stuff, at least I won’t hate my own oc again. He’s my boy and he’ll forever be, to be fair. I know even the darkest of things about him that no one knows, and, most likely like any other person who owns ocs and aus :3 Just want to take the time to appreciate this. NOW! The pics...hehe they were lots of fun. Red ( @shinayashipper ) indulged me even more when I saw her drawing of a anime character in black, white and red and I was even more eager to draw them all since I wanted them all in black and white. I actually drew them in color and after used saturation layer to make them black and white. Aku, Byoki and Ikari, despite being Evil!Yugi ocs, they are very different from one another. In many ways. Aku is an evil spirit, Byoki is a witch and Ikari is...half human half wolf ^^; You can find out more about Aku under the aku tag from Spirit’s blog if you’re interested ;) I’ve been testing different lighting and head positions, tried my best to put them on canvas. And I’ve combined hard shading with soft shading because I found it to work really well together! Ok yes I made fanart now I will just post it before i waste another hour waiting to post this haha ^^; Byoki’s eyes are half-litted/closed or however you say that oof sorry ><
