Why am I moving?
Iโm in the middle of transitioning to a new chapter in my life. Itโs exciting and terrifying at the same time. At this time I think itโs important for me to be clear about the intentions behind this change:ย
1. I want some space to focus on myself - Donโt get me wrong I love my friends and family but sometimes their presence and energy is distracting. As an empath, Iโm sensitive to other peopleโs energies and feelings. I tend to absorb them, and itโs not always conducive to my own growth.ย
2. I want to deepen my spiritual practice - For some, NYC is the ultimate space to put their spiritual lessons into practice. In a city thatโs constantly moving, you have to work to find stillness and clarity. On the flip side, I find it hard to hear my own voice and thoughts amidst the bright lights and loud sounds, and the constant bustle. Iโm craving for a quiet space that I can call my own so I can deepen my yoga practice and mediate more.ย
3. I want to reinvent myself - Thereโs something so liberating about being in a city where no one truly knows you, it makes you question how you want to be known.ย
Currently I feel anxious about this looming change, but itโs times like this I need to come back to these reasons.I manifested this change into my life, something that started as an idea is now reality, and thatโs quite beautiful.ย ย
