I mean I got

Season 1-5 of Being Human UK ( I am actually already at season 3)

Lord of the Rings 1-3 Extended Edition (Um, 12 hours movie + 9 discs of bonus material?!?!?!) technically the whole family got that from my uncle but I am the only one who appreciates it, everyone else is just "ugh Lord of the Rings? Nah, not with me" so I count it as my present ;)

Star Trek Into Darkness

Seriously. I can marathon LotR and AUJ EE and then all the bonus material now. Live like there's tomorrow! Gosh, I am excited!

And most important: My mum pays for my Hobbit Con ticket! I already knew about that before, but it's FUCKING AWESOME. LESS THAT FOUR MONTHS.

I wandered round the halls and saw the classes going on as normal, teachers that had guided me for years preping the young'uns for what I face now. 

I never really felt any connection towards my school, I still don't. I doubt I'm going to miss the place much, I'll probably forget a lot and see the rest through a charming tint of nostalgia. I'm not going to miss many of my classmates, I'll see the ones I want to and I might not delete them all off facebook, but god am I going to miss being part of a class, with teachers that are funny and enthusiastic about their subjects. I hope the freedom of college doesn't hinder that feeling.

I just want to say a proper goodbye to my school. I want to have one last look at a room I spent a significant amount of my life in. I've made friends there, I found myself there, sure it hasn't always been that great, but that's made me who I am. So why can't I end my era the way any cliché sitcom does and take one last wistful look at this room, turn the lights out and leave without looking back?
