What are your top 3 fav works from this year? 2. Which work didn’t get the love you wanted it to? 3. Which was the most challenging? 4. Which was the most successful? 5. 1. Well, top three is pretty easy considering I didn’t really write a lot this year.
But I loved Bluebird in Hiding, Way Back Home and First in Line.
Bluebird especially because it means a lot to me personally to work through my issues with writing!
2. I would say All’s Fair in Love and War did not get the love it deserved, and I’m only saying this because I personally feel the characters have a lot of depth to them, and it’s a different kind of story. But it’s VERY slow burn, so I guess I shouldn’t be very surprised.
3. Challenging content-wise was bluebird again because it took a lot out of me to write it. But All’s fair in love and war has been a big challenge to write because a) I’ve never written slow burn before and b) I had written almost half of it before I started posting, which I had never done before either. It was challenging writing without getting feedback
4. Surprisingly, Way Back Home, which was a bollywood AU I’d written for @word-bug. I didn’t expect a lot of people to like that!
5. I have my CSLB which I’m working on (YAYYY!) as well as the rest of All’s Fair in love and War. In addition to that I have a couple of idea for another MC fic, but I haven’t decided on one yet. I’m also working on a very common theme for me: Pregnancy angst. I’m an awful human being
