What the Law Commands
By doing what the law commands, no one can ever be made right with God. For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. Romans 3:20 NLT Praises and honor be to the Holy Father in Jesus Christ's matchless name ! The Holy Scriptures gives us laws to follow. Theologian Thomas Aquinas explained that there are three types of biblical laws — moral, ceremonial, and judicial. And the most important and widely known are the moral laws called the Ten Commandments (Deuteronomy 5:6-21 NLT) which God gave to the Israelites. Very interestingly, these Commandments are the foundation of the moral code and legal system of justice to many countries. Cursed — who does not obey all the commands Coming to the subject verse, it clearly states that the law is the knowledge of sin. These laws were given because of man's sins and transgressions. Truly, these laws show us how sinful we are in the sight of the Almighty God. Most importantly, by the deeds of the law no one will be justified in the sight of God. The scriptures says that those who does them shall live by them. Though it does not mean that keeping laws is not the perfect way to be justified, but it requires one to keep all the laws. And no one can ever possibly keep all these laws and it only worsens our justification.
