i agree with the concept of axing language like "male" or "female" and just referring to the specific body part that needs to be mentioned, but first of all i do not think most people even realize how rarely you ever need to call attention to a body part when referring to a group of people. it's just not something you'll need in very many situations. but male and female are highly ingrained concepts so often people will use the reference to a body part in place of what would have been AMAB or AFAB previously. i think this needs to be reconsidered
