"You know I'll rarely complain, but this hurts like hell", Hux complained quietly with a grimace on his face. The wound on his chest was half healed, but at least he could get out of the bacta tank for now. He was sitting on a cot as she was checking his injury. "What do you think? How long will this take?"

“You took a blaster to the chest at point blank range Armitage. Here let me give you something for the pain.”
Reaching over she snags the hypo of painkiller, pressing it to his neck with a hiss as the drugs entered his system.
“Most of the damage healed in the bacta tank thank the force, a day or three of bacta patches will have you up and about. Full healing though. That’s going to take a couple of weeks.”
Securing said patch over the injury she straightens, giving him a faint smile, stuffing her hands behind her back to hide their shaking, wanting to reach out to reassure herself he really was there, unsure how he’d react to her touch.
“I’m just glad you survived. I thought I’d lost you. I’ll be forever grateful to those troopers loyal to you. They saved your life.”
