One of the supporting characters in my story! His name is Damien and he’s a gargoyle! Gargoyles have special lore and story meaning in my comic :)

I redrew an old piece from 2020 (old one is on the left). I kind of miss his long and floppy ears but it’s hard to tell he’s a serval and peacock mixed griffin if I draw him with them. I’m very much in love with how this came out!!

For centuries there’s been legends and myths of a strange beast with a hunger for flesh and blood. Many have made search groups to try and hunt the beast but many have either given up or gone missing. Dreamwalker is apart of a search group but she hides the terrible secret of being the beast she pretends to hunt. She spends her daytime going on a wild goose chase and spends her restless nights at the black market trying different potions and cures for what she thinks is a curse. She cannot remember anything from her past but as the story progresses her environment and nightmares unlock mysterious hints at her past. She feels isolated from others. She doesn’t know who or what she is and she is weighed down by the guilt of hiding her secret in order to protect herself. If only she knew how deep her roots go. Also she loves burgers lmao
