oh darlings, i know you’re all happy to see me but you didn’t have to go through all that trouble for lil me. a whole fun fair? fried sweets and rides? well buckle up, honeybuns because jamie’s in town and there’s going to be a hella ride. just don’t lure me into any scary house. i need to save all my bravery for halloween and au contraire from the character i might portray currently, i’m not much for the scary things. // @brasswoodhq​ 

guys, halloween is drawing near and i have no clue who or what i’m going as. i’m not above drawing suggestions from a hat. i am also already worrying how i will invite myself in for thanksgiving if anyone will have me, if not this lovely ranch hosts something. i’ll always be a fan of american holidays with lots of food. anyway, rambling. please give me some ideas to put in my hat for halloween costumes. any and all suggestions. what are you going as? i promise not to steal it... unless it’s real good. // @brasswoodhq​

people always say ‘no offense’ when they’re really about to say something offensive. honestly, has anyone ever started a sentence with ‘no offense’ and then go on to say something that won’t offend you? like, unless it’s someone making a meme or joke, it’s always offensive. we should just stop saying that, it annoys me so much inside i get offended before even hearing the thing i will probably be offended by. am i the only one? i might be a bit grumpy tonight, perhaps i should go get myself a pumpkin spice latte. no offense to all other lattes, but it’s better. @brasswoodhq​ 

colorado, i’m now in you, which means i no longer have to fear the weather whenever i step outside in sweatpants or a pullover. kind of nice to be somewhere where it actually feels like fall, and not a second round of summer, you know? and with so much to do in just this first week of being here — if, at any point, my social battery drains, i’m slipping away to the nearest hot tub to recharge with a glass of wine. gotta use the getaway to its fullest potential. anyways, i’m maya, i talk more than i ever fully realize, and i’m curious, what are you most excited for? something in our first week? just not having to sit in traffic any more? pretend i’m that camera they stick in the confessional booth on love island. ( @brasswoodhq​ )
