Komi couldn’t stop the groan from surpassing her lungs once she came to realization just how late it truly was. The sun had long been set with nothing but the moon supporting the night by shining its way through the large curved window. She even had streaks of paint blotted all over her pretty features and skin, let alone the amount imprinted onto her jeans and crop top 一 possibly wasn’t the best idea to expose her stomach to the sticky liquid, yet she paid no mind to it. All she cared for in that moment was the manor which she currently resided in at nearly.. three in the morning. She only desired was to scrub away bits of graffiti and resort the massive housing into something as close as it originally was. It just clearly appeared that every bit of effort she’s given towards the mansion, would be quickly taken away by some drunk teenagers or disrespectful adults who see this lovely home as nothing but the city’s ghost story. How friggen annoying. She felt safe despite the lateness of the day, well, she thought she did. She constantly found herself checking the closed door to the master bedroom that she was repainting, constantly feeling the chill on the back of her neck, constantly feeling uneasy. The entire ideas was only given a heightened sense when footsteps could be heard creaking down the hallway. It’s not as if she wasn’t expecting at least one person to somehow appear within the building, it just was a concept she wasn’t willing to admit yet for her own sanity. Typically a girl as small as herself would hide, they’d find the best case to get out of the house, yet she felt frustrated. Anger flourished through every fiber of her being in mere seconds, it’s like she lost sight of herself while her body guided everything for her. From lifting up a dirty paint brush (like that’d do anything of aid), to storming outside of the room 一 it felt surreal to her. “What are you doing here?” Even that tone that could drip of poison felt surreal. “You know一 I could have you arrested for trespassing. You can’t just walk into someone else’s property like you own the place it’s rude. What more could you people possibly want with this house? You’ve all already torn it apart. Don’t you want to let the family rest?” Komi’s breath became erratic, all forms of negative emotions flowing in and out of her. Her fingers had clenched down onto the paintbrush as she looked towards the direction of a much taller shadow, yet fear didn’t seem to make its way into her head. Besides, there’s not exactly any way for her to step out of the scenario as she had already babbled her way into a near perfection confession.
