You were concerned about your best friend Lonny, whom you hadn't heard from in a few days. You felt a little guilty having been busy with work and very tired, but now you had time to kill and were heading to his apartment because that's kind of how friendship worked.

You and Lonny had been friends since middle school, both loved guitars and music and whenever people met you they assumed you were together. However, you'd tried the whole dating thing and realised you worked better as friends. Lonny was living his dream as the new member of Black Veil Brides after touring with Andy Biersack on his solo work, while you played video games and did guitar covers on Twitch.

The lights were on in his place as you put your spare key in the lock and walk in unannounced, the two of you having little to no boundaries.

'Lonny, it's me,' you call out, shutting the door behind you.

When you get no reply, you take off your shoes and decide to look around. Lonny wasn't in the lounge, kitchen, bathroom or even his office/music room which only left his bedroom.

'I'm coming in Lonny, you better be decent Mr,' you call out, keeping your tone light.

The bedroom was dark but you could make out Lonny in bed illuminated by the screen of his laptop. He doesn't even look over at you which meant something was seriously wrong and you had to get to the bottom of this.

You get into bed with him and take the laptop to see what he was so transfixed on. There were a bunch of tabs open with different news articles and a couple of Reddit posts dedicated to Black Veil Brides. It had been announced a few days ago that Lonny would be replacing Ashley in the band, and there were nice comments and articles but a lot of mean comments and articles.

'You should have called me, I'd have come immediately if I'd known,' you say, tearing up a bit.

Lonny bows his head and shrugs his shoulders, 'I didn't want to bother you, I know you've been exhausted doing multiple charity livestreams...'

You scoff and shove him, 'Some things are more important than streaming Lonny...and you're one of them, please don't force yourself to suffer alone like this again, promise me.'

You pull him into your arms and hold him tight, 'Whenever you need to talk I'm here for you day or night. Now shall we order food and pig out?'

Lonny nods and hugs you back, 'You're the best friend anyone could ask for y/n, now let's pig out.'
