This spring, Edison Park is hosting its second annual, three-day musical event called, Off the Trax Music Fest. This new installment to Edison Park's music festival repertoire is taking place May 5-7, 2016 and features more than 30 amazing bands at four of Edison Park's most recognizable venues. Last year dubbed, "North by Northwest Highway Music Fest", this year's festival shares the same goal as last year: to attract more cultural and musical awareness to the community, while promoting the greater Edison Park neighborhood. Off the Trax Music Fest promises a taste of something for everyone. Sponsored by Blue Moon Brewing Company, the festival will take place across the neighborhood's most historic venues, including Emerald Isle, Firewater Saloon, Edison Park Inn and Moretti's Edison Park. Edison Park Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Melissa McIntyre says the annual event will be bringing in many of the bands from last year, plus new ones for this season. The bands kick off on Thursday, May 5 at 6pm and will continue through Friday, May 6 and into Saturday, May 7 until 11pm. #chicagotribune #edisonpark
