"Is anyone ever ready for something like this?"
Not that Buzz was getting cold feet, but any number of things could go wrong at this point, heading directly into the enemy's lair. It would've helped a bit if Buzz had a map of the place, but hopefully Guns knew exactly what she was doing and where they were meant to be going. Buzz found it easy to trust her, professional and serious as she was. It was the same amount of trust he afforded Roth, at least until that slimeball backstabbed them by faking his death and escaping to Earth.
He still had some amount of Buzz's trust, but the cabbie would have to work to get the rest of it back. For the moment, Buzz felt more at ease with Guns than anyone else, if only because they were raiding a federal building together. He really ought to get to know her outside the job; she was fun to be around.
As the elevator got closer and closer to its destination, Buzz clambered up the wall to hang down from the ceiling, twin pistols in his lower set of hands. If anyone was waiting for them at the bottom, he'd be ready. "You shoot first. I'll trust your judgment."
