The DATABANK, or as Scav & Hunt call it, The SCRAPYARD (like c'mon, they definitely look like they know something about it, nothing can change my mind 👁️👁️, well maybe button can but that's different-)
The creepy slimy thing crawling through that 'portal'(which looks like the malfunctioning checkpoint I drew in another pic) was a scrapped character(it's a random OC so don't worry, no one canon...yet) turned glitchy amalgam
These tend to be really dangerous
But they can be dealt with... If you aren't too worried about letting it corrupt the world you're in to a point of self-destruct
As to why Scav opened a portal to one of these things.... Well, let's just say he & Hunt tend to include the amalgams for either distracting for their escape, or to get an upper hand in battle
