So, if any of you reading have had the chance to get to know me, you know I have a major obsession with onesies. If you don't know that about me....now you know! Anywho, I found this delightful onesie yesterday while thrifting and I've been wearing since I got back to my dorm. Legit put it on straight out of my shower. I woke up this morning to @_est.90s_ telling me that I needed to go tell my twin @shioke goodbye because her family was here to pick her up. Now, I'm sure you all are thinking, "Ok, so I guess you got up and got dressed before going to tell her goodbye." You would be absolutely incorrect. I got up, and left my dorm, onesie still on and everything. I saw no need to change because 1. I'm way to cozy in this onesie, 2. I look way too cute in it, 3. Who cares if I walk around in public in a onesie. In my opinion, society puts so much pressure on us to conform to these social norms, therefore making it easy for is to give others the side eye for going against the status quo. Whenever I put on an outfit, it rarely has any correlation to how someone is going to view me for it or for the attention I might receive because of it. I wear what I wear because it makes me feel good. Clothing should be a reflection of you. It's a form of expression, and today, I chose to express how comfy I feel and how comfy I want to remain. I will be wearing this onesie all day and I could care less what someone else thinks about it. There's definitely a time and place for everything, but when it comes to casual wear, it not about WHAT you wear, but more so, HOW you wear it.
