#inanimate insanity#cabby ii#suitcase ii#cabcase#misc#To me being butch feels really important to both of them#Suitcase particularly even if I think about butch Cabby far more#Both of them feel like they are expected to be femme and punished when they do not fit into these presentations#Masculine in ways undesirable to society#Suitcase's arc feels like it ties a lot to learning to embrace this butchiness#What she truly is#Cabby I don't think being butch is like as integral to her story per se BUT I do think there's a lot to be said about#How she is interpreted as a danger#Not a conventionally feminine woman#A lot of butches enjoy giving to their community and Protecting them#especially those they hold close to them#(Obviously not exclusive to butches! Or a requirement!)#And it makes me think about how protective Cabby is#Feels like the III finale involved a bit of her Reclaiming that#allowing herself to be such. She doesn't need to apologize#butch Cabby ...
