okay re: learning from ph to study genshin and visa versa
The whole note regarding how Oceanids love the other by melding into each other. It made me think back to Jack and just how much more fitting the water motif is for him.
As someone who lacks his own identity, having been imposed one since birth to the point of obsessing another, it makes so much sense that his image is water. He only reflects what others want of him. Beyond that watery stature is no one. He never had the chance to cultivate his own being to create a more solid person, so like water, he changes form to what he sees fit.
His existence only relies on another’s existence. If Lacie hadn’t stepped in, he would have been left to die on the streets, having no one else to go on with.
