Finally remembered to do a blue monday again! You can’t tell from the photo, but it’s sleeting sideways, so my grim expression isn’t merely to do with world politics and the amount of plastics dumped in the oceans. Today is International Workers' Day. In honor of 'arbeidernes dag', labor day or workers day, here is a photo of a worker we believe was a 'rallar'. Rallar-workers were often traveling workers in Sweden and Norway who built roads, railroads and worked in mines. This photo was taken by Alfred Hermansson in Kristinehamn, Sweden.
