When I told people that I was moving to Boston after college, some people said, "You're going to love it there" and some people told me to, "Be careful up there."
Boston has never been able to shake the 'most racist city in America' tag since April 5, 1976, because of the famous photograph of Ted Landsmark being speared in the stomach by an American flag-wielding man that was protesting at City Hall Plaza over the forced desegregation of schools through a mandatory busing program.
The photograph, taken by Stanley Forman, was titled "The Soiling of Old Glory".
While I don't watch a lot of TV, I do appreciate what Trevor Noah and his style of reporting asking the question, "How racist is Boston?"
