Small College Basketball Notes
* What a game! West Chester won a thrilled quadruple-overtime game, 97-96, on the road at Kutztown.
* In Bellarmine's 82-63 win at McKendree, senior forward Jake Thelan went for 21 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists.
* Colorado - Colorado Springs All-Everything 6'5" junior guard Derrick White has scored 25 or more points for five straight games for the 19-2 Mountain Lions.
* Bluffton's Thayne Recker scored 53 points in a triple-overtime win, 103-102, over Hanover. His 53 points broke the school and conference record for points in a game.  The conference record of 51 points was held by Manchester's Burt Paddock in 1996. Paddock is now the Head Coach of Davenport University.
* Rhode Island's senior forward Chris Burton stuffed the stat sheet in a 70-59 win over UMass Boston when he had 29 points, 13 rebounds, 6 steals and 5 blocks.
* Hilbert junior Jerame Owens joined the 1,000-point club. The 6'6" forward is averaging 15.6 ppg & 10.9 rpg. Earlier in the year, in a game against Pitt - Greensburg, Owens had 20 points & 27 rebounds, 4 assists & 3 blocks.
* Brooklyn College's Egzon Gjonbalaj also joined the 1,000-point club. The 6'3" junior is averaging 17.4 ppg,  8.6 rpg, 3.6 apg, 2 spg & almost 2 blocks per game.
