HOUSE M.D. SENTENCE STARTERS
@burninq: "Oh, I’m sorry, I thought we were having a state-the-obvious contest."
Maybe it was the scenery that kept him on high alert: the dimly lit alley, a narrow passageway where a damp chill hung in the air, with shadows cast from the street as the last pedestrians made their way home.
But Dean has most of his cards on Calcifer’s fangs, now out for display. He’d noticed something strange emanating from the man before, but he doesn’t trust most people, so he assumed it had been for entirely human reasons.
When he states the obvious—that the other’s a vampire—it’s more as a comment made in passing than anything else, cursing himself for not carrying the weaponry necessary to keep himself safe in case things go south, but Calcifer takes the opportunity to sprinkle some sass in, to which Dean responds with a huff.
"Well, duh…"
His hand slips to where it meets the gun tucked into the back of his jeans, but he doesn’t move to pull it out.
"And now for the big question: you out for my blood?"
