❈ — “I often wonder how you go through books the way you do, and that’s coming from someone who reads on the daily.” Belle chuckled as she personally got Jay’s coffee for him. He’d come into her store so often she remembered the way he liked it made. She even reserved books for him she had a feeling he would be interested in, because she remembered the type of stories he was into. Belle was always like that with her regulars.

“Got your favorite ready.” She said with a sweet smile, hazel orbs glowing as she gazed at him from across the counter. “So, what are we on the lookout for this time?”

(went with the arranged marriage verse ;))

1. Celene gets bored with the normal princess duties, so she often has Sebastian tell her about his duties and things instead, because they’re much more interesting.

2. It really doesn’t take them long at all to warm up to each other. They were pretty much falling by that first night, and getting to know each other better just solidifies things. 

3. Jay and Celene read together a lot. Like, they’ll cuddle up in bed and one of them will read a few chapters aloud to the other. They take turns who’s reading.

“I promise I’m not going to kill you.” There definitely wasn’t a subtler way to put it – he was going to end up hurting her for a bit, but he wasn’t going to take so much that it would be fatal. He just… needed enough to get him by for now. The last thing he wanted to happen was lose control and actually kill someone like he had when he was first turned. “There isn’t really time to give you a massage to help, huh?” he joked, trying to remove the tension in the air. It wasn’t working.

He held onto her arms gently, keeping close to her and trying to soothe her. He could control himself enough, right? He could – he can do this. “When I get what I need, I’ll be on my way.”

Well, that was blunt. Still, she couldn’t really imagine a better way to make that statement, so she was just going to accept it. It wasn’t like she was in a position to do much else, either. None of this was good for her. It wasn’t going to end well for her, no matter what happened.
