First
While cleaning out my room I found a box...a box I thought I threw out. Inside it, I found this. Hello stranger sitting across the way The highest moment of my day When our eyes met, a nervous smile While I say and thought of you for a while Then out of the blue My wish came true I was moved and sitting NEXT to you The space was tight I felt your eyes Looking up and down my spine I nearly died With a simple "hello" Something arose A feeling I didn't understand But I digress, I was a mess And you were the ultimate test No...or go? You know what happened next A friendship grew I somehow knew I couldn't let go of you Stories exchanged Feelings strange I was simply amazed I was so scared but I didn't care My affections too much to bear I told the truth Somehow you also liked me too When our lips FIRST touched Super volcanoes erupted Fireworks danced in the sky Each day by your side Whispering into the night Filled my heart with delight As nine months passed Oh, it happened so fast So perfect. But it didn't last Some force from above Robbed us of our love And we were caught in the act You weren't right for me Ignorant, I refused to believe I CRIED and CRIED There were endless nights "He used you" he muttered My head all cluttered For the FIRST time I felt my heart die We became strangers from the start Avoiding you was the funny part It was you that I hated Those feeling soon became withered and outdated Deep inside I wanted you to smile I would still love you through infinite trials Although again, that path I would never walk After four years, I had the strength to talk It was a nightmare, I couldn't sleep Unsaid words at its peak Through this came clarity I fell...DEEP "Don't do this again. Don't cross between lover and friend" All I could see was you on the other side So I had to decide I gave it another try I was nervous at FIRST, shaking with excitement Avoiding your eyes, I couldn't stop it For a while we would talk and sit Dry throats, fidgeting a bit We changed so much, yet still the same I was so happy, I was afraid Afraid to lose you, it drove me insane Chances were slim We wanted to win We did all we could We tried to make ends meet We fell in defeat Just like you knew we would In the end, I miss you like I did back then If not now, who knows when Will I ever find someone like you? Heaven-sent. We went through hell, the worst But we'll both be free, like the birds There may be millions, fifths or thirds But in love, you were always the first.
