Within the quiet lands of Quel’thalas carried the sound of shifting metal as the fallen Quel'dorei walked through the lands.  She could sense a holy power not native to the wooded area.  She would have ignored the sensation and continued on her walk, but something else mixed with the holy power she could not ignore. A soft sigh passed her pale lips in exasperation, not like she needed air to begin with, it was but a motion of habit even in death. In advancing on the clearing, the sight was one to behold. She approached the charred tree trunk and placed a hand on it's bark. Pulling a chunk of bark off from the burnt tree, she stowed it away in her pouch for further analysis. Her gaze drifted from the tree to the surrounding  scorched area.  'Curious to know what happened here..' She thought to herself as her attention fell on the object in the center of the scorched site.  She approached the mass while keeping her guard up. Although no one was in the area that she could tell, they could not be far off by the warmth of the burning ground.
Wither she was a stoical person, or just held no remorse for the dead, the remains of the once living person did not turn her away from investigating. She quirked a brow to the burning holy symbol on what once was a torso to something living. Â Canting her head to the side, she noticed the same thing around the ground of the remains. Â A frown fell on her lips at this point as this did not feel like an accident. Â She moved her hand to the communication stone embedded in her armor's neck guard. She knelt down to look over the remains closer while calling in a report.
There was a small click from her neck guard as she activated the stone. Now able to use both hands in her examination. "This is Initiative Whiteflame reporting in.. Sunward Shadowsunder, if you are around, I've found something that may need direct attention.. Â Correct me on your title later if need be." She added in before continuing. "For record purposes, I've included a device in my communication stone to record my reports if necessary.. Â I've found remains with an unfamiliar symbol engraved into what I think was the chest of a humanoid, and the surrounding ground in a circle." She went quiet for a moment as she glanced around, an uneasy feeling was settling in on her chest. "The surrounding area is scorched as though it were burnt in a burst of heat, but the air gives a holy presence.. The remains are scorched, unrecognizable, yet still hold heat as though it happened recently.. Â I'm sending in my coordinates and will attempt to bring in the remains for further examination..."
She reported as she looked around once more before removing her cloak and placing it on the ground next to the remains. Â She placed her hands on the ground next to the remains as she muttered under her breath. Ice formed on the scorched ground and beneath the remains. Canting her head to the side, she concentrated to arch up the ice in a slant to gently slide the remains onto her cloak. Â From there, the ice melted back into the earth as she wrapped up the remains in her cloak. Letting out a high pitched whistle, she summoned her death steed as she carefully picked up the remains to set them on it's back.
For a moment, she had forgotten her communication stone was still active when she whistled and cringed. "...My apologies." She murmured into the stone before mounting her death steed. She adjusted her seating with the bundle across her lap, making sure it would not go anywhere. "I am leaving the area, would you like me to bring the remains to a specific location ?" She asked as she tapped the sides of her steed with her heels as it trotted on. Â She did not want to be in that location any longer than necessary. She continued on her way aimlessly until told where she should go to meet someone about the body.
