This salad is a tasty, gluten-free take on the traditional bacon blue cheeseburger. It's full of flavor and great for people who want a burger but don't want the bun.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese. 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled. 1 head of lettuce, washed and chopped. 1 tomato, diced. 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup gluten-free mayonnaise. 1 tbsp gluten-free Dijon mustard. 1 tsp gluten-free Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into four patties. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. While the burgers are cooking, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl to create the dressing. In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, diced tomato, and sliced red onion. Once the burgers are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a minute. To assemble the salad, place the burger patties on top of the salad mixture. Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese and cooked bacon over the burgers. Drizzle the dressing over the top of the salad. Serve immediately and enjoy your Bacon Blue Cheeseburger Salad!
