𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍔 Honestly it’s been a looong time since I was properly blown away by a new burger, and I’ve missed that feeling so much. No beating around the bush, @bangbangburgeruk go straight up there with the best for me. Jamie, who also runs the kitchen at @leytonstonetavern, runs Bang Bang as delivery only from Bermondsey. Whilst you may see some similarities in the burgers at both locations, the really excel here. This is the Double Cheese Smash. 2 50 day dry aged beef and onion smashed patties, American cheese, bang bang burger sauce, mustard jam, lettuce, pickles. The caramelisation on that beautiful northern bred beef is delicious, and the way Jamie smashes the onion into the patties really helps to get those juices going through the meat. This burger is very close to the taste of a Big Mac, especially because of that sauce, and I say it all the time, anything that tastes like McDonald’s is a winner for me. I rate the burgers here VERY highly.
