Midoriya opened his mouth to say something, anything really but nothing could come out so he was now on his knees with his mouth open like a gaping fish as the predator stepped from its hiding place which seemed to be behind a tree.

It was a wolf.

A creature nitrous for being known as the most aggressive species and the reason why no one in his village dared venture out alone.

This wolf seemed to be proof of why you shouldn't go out because around his lips was a smear of something red which only Izuku could assume was blood..?.

The wolf didn't say anything as his eyes narrowed down at the rabbit who was too frightened to move as this was his first encounter with a predator outside of the occasional visit of a traveler who was a predator bringing goods to trade or sell even then it still wasn't the most peaceful transaction as the predator wasn't the most nicest..

The wolf was dressed strangely with the only thing on him to keep him warm were his pants along with the most beautiful yet strangest necklaces that he had ever seen.

Though what stood out to him most beside his oddly sweet scent which smelt somewhat like cinnamon and ash were his eyes.

A beautiful ruby red that held something that the rabbit couldn't put his finger on but when the predator took another step toward. Izuku hopped up and when he did he finally took notice of something in the grass.

Blood stains on the grass.

His eyes left the ground quickly to look up at the wolf who still hadn't gotten too close to him but was now leaning against a tree, clutching his side as he closed his eyes.

“Y-you're hurt” The rabbit said, stating the obvious to the predator.

Izuku seemed to have a change of heart now knowing that he was injured…this meant he wasn't a threat right? He was hurt and well the rabbit couldn't help but take pity on him despite this being a whole predator.

He took a cautious step forward causing the wolf's ears to twitch and eyes to shoot open. The beast let out growl in response, making him freeze out of instinct before he huffed softly. “I just want to help” He knew that he should leave the other alone but Izuku didn't have the heart to do so despite him making it clear that he wanted to be left alone but after taking a step only to be met with another growl it caused Izuku to step back and sigh.

Maybe he should just leave... He thought to himself but just as midoriya had given in and decided to head back home before he noticed something in the corner of his eye, the wolf falling onto his knees, unable to keep himself up as he breathed heavily though he didn't reach the ground. Instead he was in the arms of the rabbit who somehow managed to get to him in time and hold him up on top of that.

Izuku just couldn't leave him behind. After all what if no one came to his aid? He'd be alone in the forest, hurt something he just couldn't leave on his conscience. “Let me help you,” the rabbit suddenly insisted, though the wolf couldn't even deny his help as he would soon lose consciousness in his arms with the last thing he'd seen was a look of worry across the rabbit's face.

When Katsuki finally awoke, His eyes took a moment to adjust to his new surroundings, He was no longer outside back in the forest instead in an unfamiliar room and in a quite comfortable bed on top of that.

The wolf lifted the carrot themed blanket that had been covering his body and looked down at his stomach to see his wound was now patched up which brought him some relief though Katsuki still felt a little on edge even with the noticeable smell of sweets filling the air.

He took a moment to look around the room and nothing seemed to be really out of sort ug was quite tidy besides the stack of books on the bedside table and papers scattered on the dresser for whatever reason but he still felt a little on edge in this unfamiliar room as he could smell a Forest like scent which most likely belonged to whoever stayed in this room and judging from the scent it was most likely an alpha though any relaxed feeling that he had would go away when the door knob twisted and slowly opened.

He immediately stared head on at the door as his lips pulled back to bare his fangs as ear twitched as the bedroom door opened and stepped in was the rabbit from before this time with a tray and a bowl of soup sitting on top of it but what threw him off was the forest like scent meaning this little fucker was an alpha..?!.

The wolf really had a hard time believing that especially after taking another look at him.

He was small compared to Katsuki and he would have thought he was an omega with him standing at about 5’5 though Katsuki's species was usually bigger than any prey as he stood at 6ft despite his secondary gender but finding out this little rabbit was a alpha was definitely a shock to say the least as he expected that scent to belong to someone else.

The rabbit looked a little nervous from the wolf's staring but would just clear his throat and speak up. “I'm glad, you're finally awake. You were out for a while there” He told him as he went over to the wolf with the tray of food and set it down on his lap before stepping back to give him space.

Katsuki looked down at the bowl of soup which looked to be potato soup then at the rabbit. “Why the hell are you doing this?” He asked. “I didn't want your damn help!” He growled.

Izuku rubbed the back of his neck. “Well, I couldn't leave you there” The rabbit watched the wolf stare at him like he was a potential threat, while Midoriya was strong in his own way as he was able to carry him back. He doubted that he could take this wolf in a fight and didn't want to find out as this predator looked quite strong. “You were hurt and needed help. I couldn't just leave you there, now please eat so you can build your strength back up” He added, hoping that the wolf would just eat already.

Katsuki looked down at his bowl before giving the rabbit one last glance before he started to eat. Katsuki normally ate meat. It was usually what he desired though it wasn't something required in his diet but gave him the real strength that he needed but he would be fine for now.

“Do you like it?” Midoriya asked, causing Katsuki to stop eating for a moment. He didn't even realize he was still there until he spoke.

“It's fine..” He gruffed. The wolf wasn't lying, it wasn't bad though the taste left him with mixed feelings as he never really tasted anything like this before but he was telling the truth, it wasn't bad. The wolf didn't even realize how hungry he was until he found himself scarfing it down but he had been on his feet for a while and was soon finished with his bowl but was using his spoon to scrape at what was left on the bottom of the bowl.

The rabbit knew that he should leave but he couldn't take his eyes off him. It was his first time coming across a predator and one in his home at that! He had so many questions for him but that would soon be put to the side when he soon  noticed he was scraping at an empty bowl now.

It looked like he liked it more than he thought.

“Would you like more?” Izuku asked softly with a sweet little smile on his face which didn't match the look the wolf gave him who stared at him for a moment before looking down at his bowl and handing it over to him without a word though the look he was giving him made the rabbit a bit uneasy, The wolf was looking at him like he was going to be the next meal if he didn't hurry up.

Despite his feelings deep down, the rabbit took the bowl with the same smile on his face. “I'll be right back with more” He told him before he headed over to the door only to stop in his tracks when the wolf suddenly spoke.

“You know you're not getting any fucking thing out of this, Helping me?”

The rabbit looked over at him and nodded. “I know and that's all okay with me!” He said with an even brighter smile before heading out of the bedroom.

Izuku headed down the stairs with a bowl in his hand. “He really was hungry” Izuku chuckled as he looked down at the empty bowl that didn't even have a single morsel left.

Izuku had a lot of questions for his new guest and planned to ask him once he was done eating though one thing he noticed was something about this wolf was odd to him, He noticed a faint cinnamon and ash like scent and there was also that blood smeared around his mouth which he made sure to wipe off after he took care of his  injury.

Just as he made it to the last step, The door opened and the light green bell attached to the door rang as it swung open signaling there was a customer or someone entering the bakery.

“Uraraka” The rabbit greeted with a little smile as she approached him with a bouquet of flowers. “Another admirer” she sighed as she sat the flowers on the counter. “This is like the third one this week, You're just getting more and more popular,” she teased.

“You think they'd stop by now” He mummered. “I haven't even accepted anyone's gifts” He sighed.

The rabbit was an alpha, something that wasn't common with most rabbits and because of that. He had a lot of omegas and even betas attempt to court him but none never really clicked with him but that didn't stop the gifts coming in but he supposed he couldn't complain much since uraraka and his business had been getting a lot more attention because of this.

“Well I guess it's not so bad since I get to come see you since I'm delivering all these flowers” the rabbit chuckled and glanced at the bowl in Izuku's hands. “Oh? Am I interrupting your lunch” The rabbit asked in which Izuku shook his head. “No no! It's fine” he reassured before heading over to the stove to get Katsuki a second helping.

“So” the rabbit began, “who were you carrying into the village” she asked as she leaned against the counter and took a moment to smell the flowers.

Izuku stiffened for a moment and he couldn't help but look towards the stairs. He hoped Katsuki wouldn't think about coming down.

“oh? It's nothing! Well nobody!” He answered awkwardly, making his friend’s brows knit together. “Really? You're making it a bigger deal than it is” the rabbit knew something was off about her friend and she had a feeling that he was lying.

“Izuku..?” she said when he was met with silence.

Midoriya remained quiet or so he thought as he found himself muttering to himself without realizing.

“It's.. just a wolf..” he muttered, ochacko was one of the few people that he couldn't keep a secret around and she was his childhood best friend after all and no matter what she'd always keep his secrets so surely she'd keep this one, right?.

“Oh?” The rabbit hummed before her eyes widened in realization. “Oh.” She repeated, The omega whipped her head in the alpha's direction though Izuku didn't face her as she practically stared holes into his back.

Her ears dropped along with her jaw,“You brought a wolf home?” She asked in disbelief.

He finally looked over at her as his ears lowered. “It's just for a few days, no one will know!” Izuku reassured as he waved his hands back and forth. “Once he's healed then he can go and everything will be back to normal but no one saw me bring him in right?”

She shook her head. “I think I may have been the only one thankfully but I don't think anyone noticed him since the guards were at a meeting and no one was up yet since it was still early but how are you going to hide him?”

“I'll figure that out..” He reassured.

“Right.” Though the brunette rabbit couldn't help but look quite concerned at her friend as she stepped towards him and whispered. “You're not being forced to do this right? Where is he anyway”

Izuku shook his head and placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile. “It'll be okay, He's not that bad so far. He's not going to be here for long anyway”

“I know and are you sure that's a good idea. I mean he's dangerous”

But urarauka was right For all Izuku knew this wolf could be wanted or known for some type of trouble but Izuku decided to think positive for his own sake.

“Im sure. He hasn't done anything wrong so far besides I'll be fine so don't worry” He said with a smile on his face to try and reassure his friend who looked concerned but would give in as she sighed softly and clasped her hands together.

“Okay then. I'll trust you on this but just please be careful. I'll come by again soon but I gotta go make more deliveries” she said as she looked towards the door then back at him. “Just be careful” was the last thing she said to him before leaving the bakery.

“I will..” he mummered before deciding to take a quick look at the flowers to see who sent them.

It read:

To: Izuku Midoriya

From: Your secret admirer”

The rabbit shook his head and put the flowers in a spare vase in front of the window, not wanting to let it go to waste.

Izuku then headed back up the stairs with the bowl in his hand. He couldn't help but wonder why the wolf hadn't tried to attack him by now. After all most predators usually caused trouble and were violent but so far this one was okay.

“I'm back!” The rabbit said as he stepped inside his bedroom and stepped towards the bed and before he could even hand it over it was quickly snatched from him as the wolf was back to digging into his food.

Izuku took a moment to even register what had happened as he stared at the wolf until he stopped eating only to glare at him.

“The fuck are you looking at?”

“Huh?” He blinked before shaking his head. “Sorry! It's just I never seen a predator this close before” He explained well there was the merchant but this was different. His eyes held so much wonder and curiosity, the rabbit's eyes couldn't help but wonder as he looked at his hands taking notice of his claw like nails that looked like they could cut right through him then there his body which showed off his amazing build and his chest..it looked so-

“Oi! Are you going to keep fucking staring at me all damn day” He growled bringing Izuku back to reality. “Sorry” he repeated twice with flushed cheeks out of embarrassment from being caught staring down the blonde in which he would just click his tongue in response and take another spoonful of his meal.

“If you got something to say then fucking say it.” He grumbled.

“What happened to you back there”

The wolf dropped his spoon in the bowl and sighed. “Why does it matter?” He asked as his lip twitched a little, showing off his fangs which may have been a warning for Izuku but he didn't even notice.

“Well. I want to know since I'm keeping you here and you couldn't even walk back there” The rabbit said as he crossed his arms. “I also wanna know what was on your face”

It seemed the rabbit had some courage to speak his mind; that wasn't something he really expected as most rabbits he came across were quite fearful of well almost everything though this one was proving to be stubborn in his own way. All Katsuki had to do was show his fangs and they'd shut up or be running for the hills but here Izuku was waiting for an answer and not backing off.

Midoriya knew that he should probably be careful since he didn't know what this wolf was capable of but then again Izuku couldn't help but speak his mind on the matter.

Katsuki didn't answer him at first, instead ate more before looking down at his bowl.

“Berries.”

Izuku should have known as the color resembled it. “Berries?” The rabbit repeated back,tilting his head to the side. The wolf nodded, “that was what was all over my face. It was the only thing I could find to eat after getting lost back there” after his explanation the wolf went back to eating his food.

“I see..” He muttered and found himself letting out a sigh of relief. It's just berries, thank goodness but izuku noticed that he hadn't answered his other question but the rabbit wasn't stupid and already came up with a theory.

You're an omega right? That was why they attacked you wasn't it." This sudden theory made him choke slightly on what he was eating and turned his head away to cough before he let out a soft huff. “So what if I am? I can still kick your ass!” He yelled baring his fangs at the rabbit making his ears drop but that was all he got out of the rabbit besides him raising his hands up in defense before Katsuki grumbled, “The only fucking reason you can smell my damn scent is because I'm out of scent patches..”

“I-i believe you could!” He said quickly. “But It's just..I never came across someone like you! I have so many questions and-”

“I don't fucking care” The wolf sneered as he set the now empty bowl on the bedside table and pulled the covers off him before he got out of bed only to hiss in pain. “Fucking hell!” He growled as the rabbit rushed over to his side of the bed incase he fell again.

“You really shouldn't be moving. You were injured pretty badly” The rabbit reminded him as he reached a hand out to try and push him back into bed only for the wolf to grab hold of his wrist, gripping it as he stared down the rabbit.

“Why the hell are you doing this shit? I didn't need your help and I'll be just fucking fine” He snapped. “This isn't the first time I've been injured.”

Izuku knew that he should feel threatened and well he most definitely was as his heart was practically pounding out of his chest but he couldn't help but take a moment to take in the predator’s features again.. His claw-like nails that could easily cut through his skin to his fangs that looked so sharp.. Everything about his appearance screamed danger to anyone who was prey, even those ruby red eyes that stared him down but Izuku couldn't help but feel something else..

Amazement!.

That was exactly it! He had never seen a predator this close before and despite the situation he was in. He wanted to just write it all down so he couldn't forget a single detail about this.

“I know” Izuku's voice came out as a whisper.

The wolf quirked a brow in response before Izuku would continue. “You look quite strong and I'm sure you are capable of taking care of yourself but right now.” He pushed his wolf back into his bed with a huff. “You need to rest! You won't get better if you don't rest” He demanded.

The wolf fell back into the bed only letting a low growl in protest much to Izuku's surprise. He stayed in bed without any other issues though that didn't stop him grumbling. “Im only doing this because I can't fucking stand on my feet long.” Though that was obviously a lie. He was just making up an excuse to hide the fact that his body got in bed on its own.

Izuku was relieved that he listened to him without any more trouble though he only reason he was listening really was because the rabbit had used his alpha voice without realizing it and even his forest scent had grown stronger making the wolf feel strange which only pissed him off as he pulled the covers over his head to make it a clear indication that he wanted to be alone which Izuku thankfully caught onto.

“I'll let you rest” He smiled and then quietly made his leave out of the room finally leaving his new found guest alone.

Katsuki's ear twitched before he poked his head out from the covers and growled softly in frustration as the rabbit's scent was still lingering and stronger. Katsuki never had an alpha affect him like that so for a damn rabbit to do so really pissed him off but now that he was alone there was something he wanted to check on. He slipped his hand into his pocket and carefully pulled out a small coin purse except it didn't hold any coin instead something that resembled blueberries except they were pink though these weren't the ones that he ate earlier obviously as these were suppressants to prevent his heat.

The omega sat up as he counted how many were left only to click his tongue seeing there were only two left just his luck.

He needed to get more and soon but he was sure that he'd be fine since he would be gone soon. Katsuki couldn't stay in one place too long or else those bastards would have a better chance of finding him or he would have a situation like before back in that forest.

He put the purse back into his pocket for now since it was the only safe place for it to be since he had no reason to trust this rabbit despite his annoying hospitality that didn't change the fact this was an alpha.

He just needed to keep his distance from this rabbit and he'd be fine.

Katsuki would only be here for a few days so he just needed to focus on healing and then take his leave. The wolf looked towards the door then over at the window that was across the bed it looked like the sun was setting already.

Maybe it was because of how soft the blanket was on top of him or hell the pillows but he couldn't help but relax into the bed and close his eyes. Katsuki could just rest his eyes for a moment right? Then he'd go and his suppressants sorted and-

He had drifted off back to sleep maybe he really did need to rest.
