i feel like lately ive started to see more japanese artists using tumblr... but none of them really make text posts, just art posts (and a lot of them entirely translate their posts to english because they know that's the main audience here...) it kind of makes me miss twitter. i hate hate haaate twitter but one of the only things i miss about it is that it's a lot more global. i miss my old japanese and chinese mutuals who don't even know that tumblr exists 😭

people who censor the swearing and sex words in their captions and people who write [speaking foreign language] for even using a single non-english word in a sentence and people who write captions that are very obviously nonsense because they're just using ai and the ai writes down whatever word sounds kind of like the word that's actually being said and they're too lazy to check it. all of these people. they all deserve to be given an audio processing disorder that makes it so that they have to rely on those same captions they didn't give a fuck about before to enjoy any media that involves audio. contrapasso
