Getting a taste for atmospheric techno after seeing Donato Dozzy at Rainbow Serpent Festival in 2014, was the creative push that Spilt Silo needed and prompted him to create his first track only a week later. His sets reveal a strong sense of experimentation and hypnotic, industrial sounds. Sourcing inspiration from Italian and Swedish techno, Spilt Silo is one for creating intricate layers with a progressive synth and obscure, and calming electronic ambience. His debut EP “Polly” on One4SevenOne Records, is a fine example of this, featuring a fevering, melodic synth line.
