“ Oh I see…I-I can understand! Being…a snake and all…but…um…I’m glad you had fun…and that you came back…” she said softly, nervously looking down at her hands for a moment before he asked how she was. She immediately lifted her head to look at him once again.

“ …Oh….Oh! I’m…I’m fine! I…I had a good summer…it was really hot…” she giggled a little nervously as she smiled, once he asked about Leo. “ He’s really good…he’s been enjoying the out doors since I don’t like to take him out much in the winter…I don’t want him to get sick…” she said softly, then looked down at her hands again.

“ …um…I was wondering…if…if you weren’t too busy today…right now…um…would you like to get lunch…with me? And…um…catch up?”

“OOOOOooohh no no no no no, that was today??”

Oh no, he felt awful. Hasnt he done enough forgetting? His mind had been so scattered recently trying to recall events that happened while he was alive. After all Dai and Asher and Simon went through, you’d think he’d be reluctant to forget something this important.

“I….I have no excuse…I’m so so so sorry, Dai… I’ll be there. Don’t worry, I’ll be there!”

He looked completely embarrassed and tried to avoid all eye contact with the skitty in front of him.

“Tell Asher not to waste his gas money…I’ll walk.”

Watching Jamie freak out a little bit was almost comedic…the guy had been through a lot of rough patches trying to remember things as of late…no one could blame him for forgetting every now and then…the lug…worrisome as he ever was. She laughed a little, raising her hands and putting them on his shoulders firmly. She looked up at him since he was much taller than her…having to stretch her arms even more because of that as well.

“ Ya goober its okay! Don’t freak out we’re only packing up everything now!” she said, smiling brightly up at him. “ We just haven’t really heard from you today I wasn’t sure what you wanted to do for the project…anything helps really” she said, letting go of his shoulders but still holding that sweet cat like smile. “ But it’ll be cool if you can come hang out…I could use another gapher…to help handle some stuff…” she said, putting her hands behind her back and leaning forward.

Fern didn’t even know what was inside it yet and he already looked like he was about to cry. The owl looked towards his bat friend and gave her a hUGE HUG
