I recently got my hands on a Slide Fire SSAR-15 SBS and let me tell you....it was awesome! I brought it out to the range with me and out a few hundred rounds through in what felt like forever but honestly only lasted about 15 minutes. Fresh out of the box I was a little skeptical because it just felt to easy to install. I just removed the pistol grip, installed this block that took it's place, removed the existing stock and slide the #SlideFire stock on. Aimed down ranged and let my front hand do all the work. My first 3 round burst startled me a Little and gave me this feeling I haven't felt since I was about 5 years old on Christmas morning. After the second set of shots I got a feel for it and I was able to stay on target, at 25 yds through a full 30 rounds. I was very surprised by the accuracy. Now you are not going to be hitting any soda cans from 100yds out while it's in 'auto' mode, but I guarantee that can will be scared out of its mind when it hears 30rds whizz by in a matter of seconds. While the stock is one there is an option to keep it locked in place. This way you can simply use your weapon in semi auto, but what fun is that. While the stock is fun to use it is also practical because of this feature. With the simply pull of the knob it goes from auto to semi. In a SHTF situation it may also come in handy because who wants to mess with someone who has an automatic weapon, not me unless I have one too. If you don't feel like spending thousand of dollars getting an automatic weapon (not to mention the fact they are illegal) you should definitely invest in one of these (as they are legal as well.) www.slidefire.com has a sale going on now.
