Hey I hope I’m not bothering you too much, but for fun. What are your thoughts on these ships?
Airjitzu/cloud pie shipping - (Arin/Euphrasia)
Wind power shipping - (Euphrasia/Percival)
Bumblebee shipping - (Arin/Percival)
🌪️🔋Wind power shipping. I’m going to start off. I’m a little surprised that wind power shipping isn’t a little bit more common. Mainly because I feel like they have a little bit more shippable moments in the show. Especially when Percival helped Euphrasia find the monastery after falling out of the sky. This is gonna sound cheesy, but considering she’s from the cloud kingdom. You can say that she’s an angel that fell out of the sky haha.
But someone pointed out how they’re actually quite similar to each other. Both characters have to fight against their kingdoms in a way to save it.
Percival had to fight against Beatrix and her lies considering that what they are doing is harmful towards dragons. Starting an entire resistant.
For Euphrasia, she fought against the Cloud Kingdom in a cultural sense. Actually using her powers to save and protect her people even if it was actively going against their beliefs.
Both are similar considering they live in a kingdom. Imperium is classified as a kingdom, and even though the cloud kingdom doesn’t have a monarchy, it still calls itself a kingdom. Both characters are around 14-15 years old who made major changes where they lived and improved the lives of those around them for the better. Lastly they are kind of the protectors/saviors of their kingdoms. In season 2 we see both characters take on roles of leaders or protectors for their people. When Ras attacked the Cloud Kingdom, she was their protector. While with Percival we see him use prismatic goggles to see spectral dragonians and lead his people away from it.
🐝 Bumblebee shipping. Both Arin and Percival are very similar characters. Both being perspective fanboys of their thing. Arin idolizing the ninjas and Percival idolizing the Claws of Imperium.
Although both characters have a rocky journey to get where they are. From the start, we can tell that both characters stay true to their beliefs and values even when they did lose hope in the individuals that they idolize. Even when Percival found out that Beatrix was lying to them, he didn’t run away but stayed. His love for Imperium wanted him to change Imperium for the better.
For Arin, even when he started to lose his faith in the ninjas and Lloyd. He still stayed true to his values even when training under Ras. Never did Arin strayed from his kind heart to get his ways. Always avoiding violence towards innocent people and using kindness whenever.
☁️🥧 Airjitzu/Cloud Pie shipping. So far there’s not enough one on one interaction for me to ship these two enough. It seems like Dragons Rising season 4 might have something planned for them. Not sure if it is evolves anything romantic? But if it’s written well I might be more on board? They look cute together though.

I've not heard of windpower before, but with the little we have it seems pretty cute. You are 100% right that the way these two meet is adorable. It is extremely tempting just for the mushy storytelling factor. 'She literally fell from heaven' is almost too good to pass on. Something about the voices of these characters I think also meshes pretty well- like Percival's aggressive extrovert energy and Euphrasia's soft spoken shyness I think would be very fun to play off of each other. I also love myself a good disconnected side character romance, and these two worlds colliding feels fun. I am surprisingly open to it. Regardless, I am now newly interested in seeing these two interact again in any capacity the show wishes. Although it does appear the windpower name/tag is already taken by the Morro X Pixal folks.
Bumblebee is cute! I like them together. The limited screentime they have together gives them a definite bond I think is easy to build on. It definitely needs more time, and I think trying to give Arin a romance in show with such a minor character feels like it would be a waste- but as a fandom ship I think it's fun.
Airjitzu is a great ship name. Love that for them. However, I don't really see the vision here. Arin and Euphrasia are similar enough that I don't see any particularly fun dynamic they would produce, but they also don't really share anything foundational enough to give them that instant bond. When I imagine them together the vibe I get is like your friend from camp. Someone you see once a year and have a bunch of ultra specific inside jokes with, but isn't a main fixture in your life relationships. Seeing them out of the hyperspecific context you're used to is the coolest thing on the planet because it's so unexpected. Maybe like a cousins sort of feel, you know?
The main problem I run up against with all these ships is that I don't really find myself itching to ship either Arin or Euphrasia. Arin's story just doesn't feel like it naturally lends itself to romance, and Euphrasia is so easily ace coded, and I'd hate to give that up. Nothing against any of these ships, but I don't think any of them are really going to be for me.
