Slimeology:

Discovered only recently by the great pioneer Sir Barnaby B. Bumble, Bumble Slimes are an endangered slime species found in concentrated pockets, deep within the Moss Blanket. Their only known sanctuary is the Bumblebuzz Apiary, once owned by Sir Bumble himself, it has now been inherited by his grandson Bennet Bumble.

Rancher Risks:

Despite their sweet bumbly appearance, Bumble Slimes become agitated far easier than other slimes, making it difficult to manage a happy corral. Once agitated or hungry, the Bumble Slime becomes a danger those around it as its stinger harms ranchers and agitates other surrounding slimes. To avoid agitating a Bumble Slime, be sure to feed it well and pair it with a partner Honey Slime!

Plortonomics:

The Plort of a Bumble Slime is sought after by apiarists, conservationists, and companies all across earth, as they provide a beneficial boost to the honeybee population. Its affects on earth’s bees range from its profound ability to calm hives and encourage colony growth, to its power to attract bees to any garden from afar. For some odd reason, this Plort cannot be eaten by other Slimes. In fact, they seem to downright detest it!

Trivia:

🐝 Similar to the Puddle and the Fire Slimes, the Plorts of Bumble Slimes cannot be consumed by other slimes, meaning there are no known ways to create a Bumble Largo. This conundrum adds to the difficulty of their conservation.

🐝 Bumble Slimes are considered the day time counterpart to the Phosphor Slime. Unlike their counterparts however, Bumble Slimes can persist in the night, albeit are far less active than in the day.

🐝 Bumble Slimes can reach great heights due to their wings, it is recommended you install a sky net in your Bumble Slime corral!

🐝 Unique to the Bumble Slime, is its off chance ability to produce wild honey alongside Plorts when fed! To increase your chances of wild honey production, plant wild flowers in its corral!
