Bulletman and electricity
So, I don't really know of how Bulletman's helmet moves him around - comic book science is comic book science, after all. But could he patent the tech and then license it for use in moving turbines at power plants around? Power would still need to be transmitted, infrastructure maintained, etc. and I don't know how much of the end cost to the consumer comes from that.
Also, does this have any potential for flying/hover cars, do you think? The actual mid-century idea of flying cars with as much freedom to move about as our flying heroes kinda terrifies me (I would expect so many accidents), but I feel like someone would want to do it.
