This also came up in my google search as Rebekah was talking to me a few weeks ago about a list of treasure, At the start of the year God was talking to me about my trove, I thought that is really obscure lord, I don’t really see it, however God always sees what we cant and even what we struggle to see as any worth about ourselves... hidden treasures, but only a few weeks ago, Rebekah prophetically just spoke it. This picture was in the google search for Philippians 4:10-13 We are in a day and age where people are so hurtful, prideful and even spiteful. If there is one thing that we do in this life that has any worth far beyond all things in this world that are gained or even lost, it is the choice to give our lives and hearts to the one who gave us him. Jesus is our treasure, he is the true treasure in this world. to find him and to let him go is to be throwing away a diamond. Paul says in Philippians 3:7-9 7 But whatever was an asset to me I count as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 More than that, I count all things as loss compared to the surpassing excellence of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God on the basis of faith.…And for this reason of Love God never forsakes his beloved with the assurance of his return and fulfillment of his promises and victory over your life as he has with mine. If there is one thing that i know it is that through every trial and in every season of life, pauls words resonate with my heart as he wrote in Philippians “ I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
I know that a lot of frustration came in my life because from a young age I has this idea and plan, picture of my life and for my family from the moment that Peter and I brought our first home together, for the most part of my life i thought and felt that if my life was not matching up to what I had planned, You know you buy a house, you raise your kids in it, you pay off the mortgage and your grand kids grow up in that house, but God has always directed my steps on a path, that was not my plan but his plan and still is his plan, in the blueprint of building our lives and our Family and our home. A home is not a house, a home is built in the perfect will of God.
