The Digital Bamboo pavilion is an ultra-lightweight structure, whose bespoke connections were manufactured using 3D printing technology. It covers more than 40 sqm but weighs only 200 kg. The structure showcases a filigree and engaging architecture that surpasses the standardized space frame vocabulary. The pavilion is exhibited at the ZAZ Bellerive and was developed by the MAS in Architecture and Digital Fabrication and Digital Building Technologies, with the support of the NCCR Digital Fabrication.
