New Video! "The Sims 3 - Building Coastal Paradise Resort"

It’s incredible to think that just 4 months ago, I made a prediction that my YouTube channel would have 1,000 subscribers by the end of August. As you can see, we’ve made it much farther than that. Although I’ve had a pretty boring summer this year, there are so many exciting things that have happened in my YouTube life these past few months and I couldn’t be more grateful. Earlier this year, I changed up my video format, to include more commentary, which gave me a big boost in subscribers and viewership. I was really nervous to start adding commentary to my house builds until everything changed. In June, Curtis Paradis spotlighted me in his new show, “The Simulation”. Within two days, my subscribers doubled to over 2,000! My viewership was higher than it’s ever been, and my Sunlit Tides house video currently has over 60,000 views and 1,000 likes. During the premiere week of Curtis’ new show, I received so many nice comments that it forced me to not be nervous talking to you amazing people. Now I’m very comfortable adding commentary to all of my videos. Since “The Simulation” has changed my life so much, and the new episode comes out today, check out these 3 creators featured on the new video: (Insert Here) I really hope more people in the community get as recognized as I did. With that being said, I’m also going to be giving back to the simming community with my new program called “BuilditfilmitM’s Simmer Showcase”. Starting in a couple months, you can submit your content on my website, and each month I will feature a few creators on my website and possibly a video format as well. More details coming soon. It’s hard to believe how fast my channel has grown the last few months and I couldn’t be happier. All 5,000 of you were the highlight of my summer.

The Sims 3 Island Paradise - Review
500 Subscribers
It's been a long time since I have taken the time to write a blog post and refelct on my last few years on YouTube. I have revamped my Tumblr blog recently, for the purpose of communicating with my viewers in a way that social media simply can't do.
I want to start off by saying... Thank You.Â
When I uploaded my first video to YouTube back in 2009, I never thought that builditfilmitM would ever reach 500 subscribers. I was just making videos for fun and I still am, but now in 2013 I look at things a lot differently. Whenever I make a new video, I think of the audience I have, and the small group of people always commenting, liking, and favoriting. I really appreciate the support and for taking time out of your day to make my day better. Thank You! And I mention this because in the last year, I've seen such a boost in video engagements from my viewers. My growing audience and loyalty from all of you is what is pushing me to make the best videos possible.
Getting to 500 subscribers was once a goal that seemed so far away, but I'm very proud to note that 2013 is on track to being the best year for my channel... and I can't say thank you enough. My views have been going up too. A video that traditionally would get a few hundred views a month is now getting around 1,000 a month. My Sims 3 house building videos which I love making, have been more popular than ever. And again, the comments are just overwhelming. All of you are just so nice, and I love hearing that you've downloaded one of my houses and are playing it with your sim family. The Sims 3 News videos that I've been producing are doing extremely well; my latest one about The Sims 3 Uni and Island Paradise has over 8,500 views. I'm really happy, and I'll be covering more live events for The Sims franchise in the future.Â
I'm excited... excited for the future of builditfilmitM, and what the rest of the year will bring. My viewers are truly what makes my channel great, and I thank all 500 of you!
