CONCLUSION
In conclusion to this week I don't think that drawing from my structure created any sucessful pieces. The reason behind this, I think, is that drawing it mainly included looking at shadows and tones, and what I learnt form the first workshop is that I enjoy mark making the most. Over the past four weeks I have looked at many different ways of drawing and observing the world around us. Even though I didn't find most of it very suitable to my way of working it was good to try and it and double check. My most sucessful pieces, in my opinion, were my portraits and in the future I would really like to take what I learnt and push myself further. Maybe in the future I can go back to landscapes, moving bodies and structures, but for now I am willing to put them on the sidelines and focus more on what I enjoy. This project has taught me a lot, even though I found a lot of work was sucessful, it taught me what aspects of my work to focus on.

Building Structures
Workshop 4
11th December
For this task I needed to create a simple 3D interior structure model using foam board or mount board. I could choose from creating a relatively abstract or representing actual rooms, entrance halls and staircases. I decided to make a kinda abstract model of an old church that had graveyard inside of the building.
After that using a lamp I had to illuminate my model and create 10 monochrome images of the size of 297 x 350mm that was a bit smaller than A3. As a help to get inspiration for my drawings I could consider the words: drama, mood and atmosphere and draw my structure from different angles and perspectives.
I found this task very interesting in the way I could recreate the structure, add details or take them out and play with light to see what new shadows I can create.
What is drawing?
Some people express themselves by dressing in an unusual way, other write poems, while in the mean time I am drawing. Illustration has always been my passion. From the first day that I picked up a pencil and some colour pens, my journey into art has started. The way I see drawing is something unique. I can put all of my passion in it and express all of the feelings I am experiancing. It becomes a mirror show of whats inside my heart and mind. I love the way I gain skills in different drawing styles and techniques opening my horizons to new ways of seing things that surround me everyday anywhere I look.
