Open world construction game Buildanauts on Kickstarter
TouchTilt Games announced today the launch of a crowdfunding campaign for its innovative open-world construction simulation videogame, āBuildanauts.ā The game, set for release in early 2015, is being developed for Linux, Mac, Windows PC, Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Developed by Halifax-based TouchTilt Games, āBuildanautsā will allow players of all ages to experience a vast, open world where they can design and build their very own living town. The whimsical, non-violent construction simulator lets players operate heavy machinery, wield a variety of power tools, and complete assignments and side-quests as they build the town of their dreams from the ground up.
āIām making āBuildanautsā because itās the game Iāve always wanted to play with my children,ā said Shane Whitehouse, CEO of TouchTilt Games. āThatās why I believe our Kickstarter campaign will be a success. I know there are other players out there who are thinking, āWhy hasnāt anyone made this game yet?ā Well, we are making it; and with your help, itās going to be amazing.ā
