-Front door slams open, four pebbles rush in. Adrian and Rocky arent anywhere to be seen.-

Grace: (under his breath), “Ohgoshnotnow-“

-the four tiny pebbles make it over and topple on to him-

Grace: “OUMFF- hey kiddos”

-cuddling them all close as they hum excited notes-

[ Adrian and Rocky finally make it to his door, Rocky rushing over ]

Rocky: “Sorry Grace friend :( we know you tired, but-“

Grace: “-Yea Ill watch em sleep don’t worry, have fun with Adrian”

I feel like they would be melodious if they did, lol-

When Rocky has sleepovers with Grace, Rocky snores melodies in his sleep like those baby sound machines.

-silence-

Grace: “I know, I’m sorry.”

-Rocky moves closer, resting his side against Graces’ arm that’s dangling off his bed-

Grace: [weakly], “Dont forget about me okay?.”

-Rocky finally decides to talk-

Rocky: “You changed Rocky’s life. Could never forget. Never, never, never.”

-Grace smiles warmly, the little bit of sun that can be seen through the fog, gleams through the window-

Rocky: “I miss you now. Not tomorrow, now.”

Grace: “I miss you now too pal.”

-Grace chuckles, his hand sliding over the only layer that keeps the two safe from eachother.-

Grace: “Tell Adrian, I said thank you for everything. And let the pebbles know

I loved being their watcher. But I loved being your watcher first. I love you Rocky.”

-One last glide over rocky, he smiles,-

Grace : “I wish I could have had more,, time.”

-His eyes dull, smiling, a tear runs down his cheek. And Rocky bellows in tunes-
