Okay Tumblr, I blurred out the bits so now you can see these photos
Werewolf Violet v2 is now assembled! She's printed in ResiOne TH-BJD and is 6% smaller than version 1. She's really stable and you can put her anywhere, kinda, like on a second floor railing.
I'm planning to do the preorder at the end of the month; I might just do Halloween as the start date, but stay tuned for an official announcement. I'm still calculating budget things. With Muriel, a big part of what took so long was mixing resin and dyeing the resin batches, but I won't be doing that for this one, so part of that will be easier.
I am limiting this to only five spots. It's possible there will only be five of these in existence; making more of them depends on whether I can tolerate sanding these. I have a sandblaster I still need to set up, but whether that will actually help me or not will be a big part of determining how easy this will be and will affect whether I want to do future orders of this doll. (The sculpted fur is difficult to sand around and, while printing at the 03 layer height makes you mostly unable to see print lines, I still do an overall fine sanded finish. This also gets exponentially more difficult if any shift lines happen)
Anyway! I am hoping to airbrush her soon, although I will be dyeing part of my personal copy (her hands are black) and have to figure that out this week.
