Diving back into where I left off drawing season 3, with Bughead in the Bunker. NGL it’s a season I find rather difficult to draw from—literally—because there were so many aspects I wasn’t a fan of/ didn’t quite agree with in terms of how things played out, character-wise, etc. That made it difficult to pick scenes that I wanted to draw or that inspired me. Contrary to season 1, where I was able to churn out scene after scene with only 13 episodes, seasons 2-3 were more sparse in terms of scenes that inspired me to draw, despite each season having almost double the number of episodes. Season 4 has been wobbly, but I am seeing glimmers of the campy magic that season 1 had. Anyone else share these feelings? Haha 😆

We built on your Spider-Jug-saving-Betty idea and it became Spider-Jug + Spider-Betty (as Spider-Gwen, so that they’re both superheroes and there’s no damsel in distress), doing the iconic upside down kiss (from the first Sam Raimi Spider-Man movie with Peter Parker and MJ)!
A little role reversal on this drawing I did way back in s1 😆
