y’all have lots of extra blankets bc cuddles and movies and just trying to be cozy all the time

ok i feel like you’d both have a hard time sleeping so just imagine warm drinks and blankets and sitting on the floor together while staring out the window and talking about absolutely nothing

lots and lots of laughs

he would most definitely make fun of you for being “short”

i mean, come on, the man is 6′5; odds are that you’re gonna be shorter than him and he twists that any way that he can

to make even more fun of your height, he’ll make you mark and measure your height in the doorway like parents do with their kids every few months to check if you’ve grown

lots of mugs

3am baking and making messes of each other with flour and better

movie nights always end in one of you falling asleep

if you fall asleep, he’ll turn off the movie and start cleaning everything up, kind of his way of seeing if you’ll wake up and go to your guys’ bedroom on your own

you usually don’t, so he just cleans up and carries you to bed afterwards

he would definitely make sure that you don’t fall asleep with makeup on and that your teeth get brushed and all that good stuff

if you’re half-asleep and barely coherent, he’ll sit you on the counter and try to do all of that stuff for you

if he’s the one that falls asleep, it’s usually with him leaning on you

you turn down the volume and clean up before returning to the couch

seeing as he’s far too big for you to pick him up and carry him to bed yourself, you just turn the volume down on the tv, snuggle up to him, and fall asleep as well

eventually you both wake up in odd positions with aching backs and drag yourselves to bed, leaving the blankets on the couch to be dealt with in the morning

he really likes resting his head in your lap when you guys are on the couch

play with his hair? this man is out like a light in 20 minutes tops

if you can’t sleep at night, he’ll play with your hair and hum to you until he’s sure that you’ve fallen asleep

you always help each other with the dishes

you do the washing and he does the drying

laundry day is a chaotic mess

there are messy, half-assed piles of “sorted” clothes everywhere and neither of you have figured out whatever system the other uses

y’all mess around a lot on laundry day, especially when it comes to washing all the sheets on your bed

you pull the sheets out of the dryer and have to ask wilbur to help you put it on

so you crawl on the bed to get some corners and will gets the others while standing

and he always messes it up on purpose

he thinks it’s cute and funny when the corners come off and the fitted sheet kind of swallows you

you usually wake up before he does

so you’ll wiggle out of his grasp and go take care of all the trivial things you do in the mornings

and then you go make breakfast for the two of you

sometimes he’ll wander out of bed wondering where you’ve gone and find you in the kitchen

then he’ll hug you from behind and kind of slump over you and sway with you for a bit

J - Jealousy (Are they the jealous type? How do they deal with it?)

I definitely 100% believe that Tsukki’s the jealous type, but not in the typical way (if that makes sense). Like, you’re allowed to have your own friends. He could care less who you’re texting or hanging out with at lunch - he trusts you. He doesn’t ask to check your phone or who’s sucking up all your attention. He knows that he loves you and that you love him, so he has nothing to worry about. Like I said before, he trusts you. But that doesn’t mean he’ll allow someone else to think that either a) he’s a pushover, b) he’s into sharing, or c) they have any kind of chance with you.

He wouldn’t be very vocal or obvious about being jealous either, I don’t think. Definitely the type to sling an arm around your shoulder and go “hey babe, who’s this? I don’t think we’ve met” while looking all smug when someone else tries to flirt with you. It’s not that you can’t take care of yourself - he knows for a fact that you can. It’s that he can’t stand the fact that someone has it in their head that they have a chance with you. So he drapes himself over you with that cocky smirk of his and watches as they stammer and try to recover, because who in their right mind would mess with someone who can - quite literally - tower over them. And he doesn’t quit until whatever idiot tried to shoot their shot realizes that they haven’t got a chance against Tsukki. He’s one of Karasuno’s best blocker for a reason, hun.

The blonde doesn’t let you out of his sight until you get back home. It’s not that he doesn’t trust you, it’s just that he doesn’t trust other people. Because other people are just too damn stupid to realize that you’re off the market.

There are a few perks to jealous Tsukki, though. For one, more physical affection than you’d normally get. And forehead kisses! To keep track of you, he’ll hold your hand or let you hold the hem of his shirt, especially if it’s crowded wherever you are. If it’s cold, he’ll give you his jacket, just to make sure that whoever’s bothering you knows. And he’ll let you be a little more affectionate too. Normally he’d get flustered if you kissed him on the lips in public, but if he’s feeling particularly jealous of someone flirting with you, he’ll let you. Or he’ll do the thing where he taps his cheek or lips for a kiss. It’s pretty cute.

K - Kiss (Their favorite way to kiss you?)

Cheek kisses are pretty typical for you two. They’re cute and simple and, most importantly for Kei, they don’t fluster him. It’s convenient for when you’re running off to class or when he’s late to practice, and it’s wholesome as hell. If you’re blushing, he gets to feel the heat of your cheek under his lips (which sounds weirder than I thought it would now that I’ve typed it out). Also, random thing to take into consideration, but you don’t have to aim so much for cheek kisses. More surface area, and all that good stuff.

Sometimes, if he’s feeling more affectionate than usual, he’ll kiss your hands. It makes you smile every single time without fail. He especially likes to kiss your hands when you’re flustered because it makes you blush even more. And then you do this thing where you duck your head to hide your face and it makes him fall a little deeper every time.

But his favorite is forehead kisses. It’s kind of his way of rubbing it in that he’s taller than you and he always will be. It’s also cute and wholesomeeeee. Like,, he gets to brush your hair out of the way and kiss your forehead and you’re all close to his chest and stuff and it’s kind of like a slightly more intimate hug in a way. When he puts his hand on your cheek or shoulder for balance while he’s leaning down, you hold his wrist and it helps him feel just a little bit closer to you. He thinks it’s cute when you give him forehead kisses too. Even when he stoops over for you, you have to lean up on your tiptoes to kiss his forehead and he has to hold your waist to keep you from tipping over like the proper shorty you are compared to him. He finds your effort adorable.

N - Nicknames (Do they have nicknames for you? What are their favorites for them?)

This man most definitely calls you shorty and smalls no matter how tall you are because you’ll always be short to him. Also calls you mini and tiny - anything to help rub in the fact that you’re not as tall as him, really - and kangaroo because of the way you jump around when he holds stuff over your head. But more seriously, he’d probably call you sweetheart, darling, love, stuff like that. The sweeter nicknames are reserved for the times when it’s just the two of you and he doesn’t have a “reputation to uphold” or whatever. Like that’s any use; all the boys on the team know he has a soft spot for you. They see it in the way he looks at you when you come and watch their practices.

Seeing as your relationship consists of a lot of mucking around, you call him stuff like T-Rex, beanpole, redwood and the like - anything to point out how freakishly tall he is. Those nicknames never fail to make him laugh a little, or at least crack a smile. In private, and sometimes in public to embarrass him, you’ll call him baby, sweets, lovebug, honey, and other cute but not-too-cheesy stuff.

You could probably never get him to admit it, but his favorite nicknames from you are honey and anything honey-related. It’s so mundane and simple, but coming from you, it means something else. He can’t help but feel special knowing that he’s the only one you call honey. He also feels that it speaks a lot to the dynamic of your relationship; it’s sweet and easy and domestic. There’s not a whole lot of drama or teen angst or pent up tension between you two. You’re both on the same page. You’re just good with one another, there’s not much else to it. It’s easy for you to love one another. You’re his sweetheart and he’s your honey.
