#bug style

Do not make fun of bug style.

Sketch of my oc recreating that Chiro-chan panel because I am a serial bug style reblogger on my personal blog.

- i... dont know how to feel about it. i mostly liked it, i thought the second half was better than the first but the first had some strong episodes early on, it was mostly the middle that was bleh. overall i did enjoy it, but not everything about it works

- the gang grew a lot more on me than i thought, i really ended up liking them! they're not my favourite group but everyone is a solid character. kenzaki and hajime were my favourites

- speaking of, wow. whatever else you can say about this show, it scores very high on the "heated drama between men" scale for sure. bug boyfriends

- apparently the bench from the end is a big meme?? i did think it was funny

- LOVED the suits. i really enjoyed having more bug style suits compared to the other shows i watched. fav was chalice that baby rocked

- also the drivers?? fantastic. the cards are an excellent gimmick and the belts were all chonky and just toed the line between "sci-fi" and "toyetic" in a way i really enjoyed

- all the women's lives revolve around men in some way and that blew. i need a rider season with good women next time to cleanse the palate, so drop a rec if you have it! that's not to say i did not enjoy the women, but that they were just basically never the true focus which bothers me, known lover of women

- it didn't ever stop feeling a little disjointed to me? i guess at the end it kinda came together, but i never became too emotionally invested. things felt like they kinda just happened a lot of the time

- to end on a positive, the action was pretty sick, and i loved them actually having motorcycle stunts compared to the newer seasons. obviously its not as over the top as the modern stuff but i appreciated in a wrestling kinda way
