sadly, I'm not very gifted when it comes to gifs (you know, the whole making them look flawless). I can only capture DVD and use an ultra basic gif maker =(

I don't know how to reply a reblog post so I will answer here :) I agree with you, Julie Plec is NOT Joss Whedon (wtf no xD Joss Whedon is the king!!) and the baby's plot on Angel although it was weird, it worked because Darla and Angel had story, but Klaus and Hayley that are suppose to hate each other because Hayley unsired his hybrids and tried to kill him. So yeah, I dislike that part of the episode not because of the baby itself but also because it has no much sense.
See, that’s the thing with Julie. She takes his idea and doesn’t improve it or add more story to it, she just makes it worse. Like a bad version of it.
One other thing: Klaus find redemption?! Ummm no. Klaus is good at one thing and one thing only: Being a badass. Klaus being a ‘good guy’ is just plain boring, he’s no Angel. Besides, what are the writers trying to do? Makes us believe that he would redeem for his evil past because he has a son now? That’s not how it works! Have you learnt anything from Joss, Julie?! Redemption comes from within, comes from helping the helpless, atoning for past sins, making a difference, bringing good upon the world. Just pure selflessness. That’s what Angel showed. and that’s what Klaus lacks. Having a son won’t change that. I don’t need another bad-guy-gone-good bullshit. Can’t a badass just stay a badass for effin’ sake?
Note: a badass can’t be a loving father and take care of a child. Just doesn’t work that way.
