As the #buffaloblizzard2022 continues (but is closer to the end), Gobee and me continue our hibernation. I’m blessed because I have heat, electricity and a feisty feline to keep me warm. Christmas 2022 was not what I expected (or wanted), but I can’t really complain. I continue to send prayers, good wishes and healing thoughts to those that have been severely impacted by this storm. Xmas Eve 2022
So, there's a waist-high drift in front of the front door, but we are very fortunate to have electricity, heat, and internet (with no interruptions) here (so far). Just fed Yuriko and Kouga; there is Japanese-style chicken curry and rice for the two-legged members of the family.
Flashlights and lanterns have fresh batteries, our devices are charging, and we have a portable charging station and numerous blankets and layers at the ready.
